Light a candle, qualify a scholarship. Interest in the Holocaust is at an all time high. The FJMC Yom Hashoah Yellow Candle™ Program builds awareness and fosters observance of Yom Hashoah through the distribution of candles and related Holocaust programming.
The program benefits the synagogue by providing a vehicle that coordinates and unites through a common inter-age effort with excellent opportunities to foster leadership and cultivate volunteers.

Direct Mail Distribution Using the Yellow Candle™ Direct Mail Program, candles are sent out individually to members of your congregation or organization. Each candle is mailed in a custom-made box, with a letter from your congregation or organization, the Poem, the Meditation, a tear-off form for contributions, and a return envelope.
